Laboratory Equipment

  • 1 Jigger / Shot Measure
  • 1 Measuring Beaker / Jug
  • 1 Shaker if available
  • 1 Bar Spoon
  • 1 Wine or Cocktail Glass

The Formula

  • 100 ml White wine
  • 30 ml Vodka
  • 1 splash Caper juice
  • 3 Caper berries
  • 50-100 ml Creaming soda

Experimental Procedure

  • Add ice, wine, vodka and caper juice to the shaker.
  • Shake until cold and add to the glass.
  • Add 50-100ml creaming soda (to taste).
  • Add ice and stir gently.
  • Serve!

Scientist's Notes

Add creaming soda to your own taste to balance the salty/sour of the wine and caper juice. This recipe is for the adventurous, and is surprisingly confusing and also moreish!
