The Formula
- 150 ml Shiraz
- 100 ml Blood orange soda
- 1 scoop Ice
- 1 slice Orange (to garnish)
Experimental Procedure
- Fill a wine glass with ice.
- Pour in the Shiraz.
- Slowly top with blood orange soda.
- Stir gently once.
- Garnish with an orange slice.

The citrus really enhanced the Shiraz and vice versa – very refreshing and citrusy.

Well balanced – fruity, the sweetness of the soda balanced the acidity of the Shiraz.
