Scientist’s Notes
LABORATORY OBSERVATIONS
APPEARANCE
Rich, dark burgundy.
AROMA
Creaming soda and capers.
FLAVOUR
Wild! Sweet creaming soda followed by salty capers. Wine flavour was undetectable.
BALANCE & MOUTHFEEL
Sweet, sour and salty – a confusion to the taste buds!
RESULTS & VERDICT
WHAT WORKED
The creaming soda gave a surprising balance to the salty capers.
WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE
Adjust the amount of creaming soda to your preferred sweetness.
FINAL VERDICT
The weirdest wine cocktail experiment we have done so far…and we would have it again. Probably just to verify that those flavours actually happened!
PERMITTED MUTATIONS
AUTHORISED VARIATIONS
You can try this with another suitably sweet soda, but we need to hear all about it!
